Mat Ryder - Bass/Vocals
Mat Ryder has been playing music for over ten years and has spanned the globe playing gigs in various locations as Vancouver, Montreal, and New York to name a few. He started playing drums at an early age with various metal/punk/hardcore bands around Edmonton until he turned eighteen and joined his father on stage performing with High Ryder. He put down the sticks washed his clothes and brushed his hair grabbed a ragged busted up old acoustic guitar and started strumming to the tunes of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Steve Earl.
Throughout his journey with his father he has played over 2000+ shows, meeting thousands of people and has a lifetime of memories under his belt. He recently put down the guitar for the Bass and is now the full time bass player in High Ryder
